#WeThe15
International Paralympic Committee (2022)
A film to launch the #WeThe15 movement – spearheaded by the International Paralympic Committee and International Disability Alliance.
The movement, #WeThe15, takes its name from the 15% of the global population who have a disability: the world’s largest marginalised group. With the goal of putting the rights of the 15% at the heart of the global inclusivity agenda.
For the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics the film launches the #wethe15 movement and was shown as part of the opening ceremony to a global audience of over 250 million people. Made in partnership with Adam & Eve DDB, the International Paralympic Committee and the International Disability Alliance, this film helps to shift the narrative around people with disabilities - away from one in which they are either stereotyped as objects of pity, or put on a pedestal. This project was led by Indochina Productions, supported by Ruom.
